Parsian processing plant is located close to Yazd, Iran, in a land of  8000 square meters. This Plant is equipped with advanced equipment of mineral processing. It is also equipped with the most modern laboratory and quality control equipment in accordance with international standards.

Iron Oxide

A group of minerals and inorganic compounds made up of iron that is in +2 (ferrous) and +3 (ferric) valence states and oxygen in the -2 valence state, such as ferrous oxide, FeO, and ferric oxide, Fe2O3. Fe3O4 is a mixture of ferric oxide and ferrous oxide that commonly occurs in a fine-grained, magnetic crystalline form. Hematite, Fe2O3, the most common iron oxide, exists in several crystalline forms. Other forms of hematite are too abrasive to use as weighting material in drilling fluid.

Barite API

[BaSO4] A dense sulfate mineral that can occur in a variety of rocks, including limestone and sandstone, with a range of accessory minerals, such as quartz, chert, dolomite, calcite, siderite and metal sulfides. Barite is commonly used to add weight to drilling fluid. Barite is of significance to petro physicists because excess barite can require a correction factor in some well log measurements. Pure barium sulfate has a specific gravity of 4.50 g/cm3, but drilling-grade barite is expected to have a specific gravity of at least 4.20 g/cm3 to meet API specifications. Contaminants in barite, such as cement, siderite, pyrrhotite, gypsum and anhydrite.


The science of plant nutrition dates back to the beginning of the history of agriculture when humans realized that soil becomes poor following several rounds of cultivation and the subsequent products do not grow as much as the early products. The soil is reinforced if substances such as manure and chemical fertilizers are added to it, but today environmental problems are among the problems attributed to overuse of chemical fertilizers. Gilsonite is a natural, resinous hydrocarbon. This natural asphalt or Natural bitumen  is similar to hard petroleum asphalt and is often called a natural asphalt, asphaltite, uintaite, or asphaltum. Gilsonite is soluble in aromatic and aliphatic solvents, as well as petroleum asphalt. Due to its unique compatibility, Gilsonite is frequently used to harden softer petroleum products. Gilsonite in mass is a shiny, black substance similar in appearance to the mineral obsidian. It is brittle and can be easily crushed into a dark brown powder.

Gilsonite is found below the earth's surface in vertical veins or seams that are generally between two and six feet in width, but can be as wide as 28 feet. The veins are nearly parallel to each other and are oriented in a northwest to southeast direction. They extend many miles in length and as deep as 1500 feet. The vein will show up on the surface as a thin outcropping and gradually widen as it goes deeper. Due to the narrow mining face, Gilsonite is mined today, much like it was 50 or 100 years ago. The primary difference is that modern miners use pneumatic chipping hammers and mechanical hoists.


Bentonite API

The term Bentonite was first used for a clay found in about 1890 in upper cretaceous tuff near Fort Benton, Montana. The main constituent, which is the determinant factor in the clay's properties, is the clay mineral montmorillonite. This in turn, derives its name from a deposit at Montmorillon, in Southern France.

Bentonite is a clay generated frequently from the alteration of volcanic ash, consisting predominantly of smectite minerals, usually montmorillonite. Other smectite group minerals include hectorite, saponite, beidelite and nontronite. Smectites are clay minerals, i.e. they consist of individual crystallites the majority of which are <2µm in largest dimension. Smectite crystallites themselves are three-layer clay minerals. They consist of two tetrahedral layers and one octahedral layer. In montmorillonite tetrahedral layers consisting of [SiO4] - tetrahedrons enclose the [M (O5, OH)]-octahedron layer (M = and mainly Al, Mg, but Fe is also often found). The silicate layers have a slight negative charge that is compensated by exchangeable ions in the intercrystallite region.

Nowadays, MIO is mined in many countries: Austria, Turkey, Spain, Australia, etc. The quality of the MIO tends to vary and the softest material makes the best paint.

  A paint has three components:

• Pigment which is the solid material giving the paints its color and bulk

• Medium which binds the pigment particles together.

• Solvent or thinners which make the paint spreadable and evaporates after application.

• Micaceous hematite has a laminar or flaky structure and the individual flakes are inert and impervious to ultraviolet light and the pollutants which cause corrosion.


Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the formula CaCO3. This chemical compound is a common substance found in rocks as the minerals calcite and aragonite (most notably as limestone, which contains both of these minerals) and is the main component of pearls and the shells of marine organisms, snails, and also eggs. Calcium carbonate is the active ingredient in agricultural lime and is created when calcium ions in hard water react with carbonate ions to create lime scale. It is medicinally used as a calcium supplement or as an antacid, but excessive consumption can be hazardous.

Salt is also used in the manufacturing of a lot of other commodities including glass, paper, rubber, and textiles as well as in water softening systems for industry and domestic use.
